Simple and Easy Beauty Tips

Many people say that beauty is only skin deep, but it’s much more than that. Feeling good about how you look on the outside is great for your confidence. It also reflects a love for one’s self. So don’t be afraid to take some time and clean up. Hopefully, these suggestions can help you get started on your own beauty regimen:

  1. Moisturize your lips. Draw attention to them not with dry, cracking skin but by using lip balm. It’s attractive. For the girls, try using a lipstick or lip gloss that’s just a few shades lighter and pinker than your natural colour. It’s subtle but draws attention to them.
  2. Wash your face before going to sleep. This will remove all the dirt that may have stuck to your face throughout the day. This will prevent breakouts. Plus, you’ll feel much better going to sleep feeling that your face is clean.
  3. Don’t shampoo too often. You should shampoo when it feels oily or if you’ve sweat a lot during that day to remove the oil and the dirt that sticks, but not more than that because you might be removing the natural oils that your scalp produces to nourish your hair.
  4. Know which parts of your face to play down and highlight. Got blemishes? Use concealer. Like your double eyelids? Highlight them with a light eye shadow. (If you don’t have double eyelids, here’s  a procedure you could have to get them: http://www.alaxis.sg/double-eyelid-incisional/) Got long lashes? Use mascara. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your make-up. You might find a look that makes you feel beautiful.
